Paintings ..... Sculpture/Mixed Media

I've been drawing and painting for many years, working mainly in oils and charcoal. My portrait work has been commissioned by private and corporate clients, and this year, I began experimenting with acrylics and making Halloween crafts that I've been selling on eBay.

(As soon as I find the disk with some of my other artwork (portraits, etc.) I'll add some of those pictures. I've really got to organize my house! Lol)

I'd been away from doing any type of painting for quite a few years as raising a child, jobs, etc. took center stage, but this year I realized that the arthritis in my hands was getting worse, so I wanted to get back into painting as much as possible while I still could.

Working with this new medium (acrylic on wood) and style (folk art) has been challenging and fun. I'm used to fine art oil on canvas, so this has been a departure, but thus far, a pleasure.
