Creative Spirit Gallery's Mission
About the Artist:

In my teens and twenties, I created private and corporate commissioned
portraits, as well as other commissioned work, until I married and
started raising a family. Eventually, family responsibilities took
precedence and I had to go out and get a "real job." Now, and for
the past several years, I've been working as a writer and an editor
(both fiction and non-fiction), but have never forgotten my love of fine
art, as well as arts and crafts.
Previously, I worked mainly in oils and charcoal,
but recently began experimenting with acrylics and polymer clays as I
started crafting Halloween pieces to sell on eBay. Working with these
new mediums and stepping into a new style of artwork (folk art) has been
challenging and fun, and I've also had the chance to meet some wonderful
new people as I've gotten to know other folk artists and collectors.
You can purchase my work with confidence, knowing that each piece is a
one-of-a-kind original. I don't repeat designs, nor do I use stencils,
templates or molds. The pieces are signed, dated, and come with a
certificate of authenticity.
